Cal 565 Time 15min
Estimated Cost $0.37
This meal requires starting a day before, doesn't take much actual time though, just letting bread rise and bake! (See Sourdough Bread Recipe)
15 min making time does not include making sourdough bread.
With your beautiful loaf of sourdough that you made earlier, cut bread into 1/2" slices.
With two pieces of bread, spread the peanut butter on one side and the jelly on the other.
Place the jelly and peanut butter sides together to form a delicious sandwich.
To make the popcorn, preheat a medium sauce pan to medium low heat with oil.
Once oil is warm, add popcorn kernels and place a lid over the pan to trap the heat.
You'll start hearing the popping. With an oven mitt, grab the handle of the pan and move the kernels around to make sure they all get cooked and popped.
When the popping slows down and the kernels have all popped, remove the popcorn from the pan and add salt to taste.
Serve popcorn with sandwich for an quick and easy lunch that everyone loves.
