Note : Time only includes prep and baking, not rising which takes 18-20 hours.
In a large bowl, combine active starter and warm water. (Do not use city water, it contains chlorine.) and milk powder.
Mix well.
Add honey and salt
Mix well with utensil or use your hand.
Once mixed into a sticky dough ball, cover with towel or shower cap and set aside for 8-12 hours (or until dough ball has doubled)
8-12 hours later
Place the dough on a floured surface and roll or press the dough until it is about 1" thick.
Use a 3" round cookie cutter to cut out round biscuits.
Place your biscuits on parchment paper that has been sprinkled with cornmeal.
Once you have cut all your biscuits, sprinke cornmeal on the tops of all the biscuts.
Cover with a tea towel and let rise for 1 hour at room temperature.
Pre-heat your griddle (or pan) on your stovetop to low.
Place muffin as many muffins that will fit on your griddle (or pan) with 1" between each one.
Cook first side for 4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip and cook the other side for 4 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy!
