Instructions:
In a kettle, stove top or electric, bring 'water for potatoes' to a rolling boil.
As the water is heating, open the cans of peas and carrots.
Drain the water from the cans of peas and carrots.
In a medium / large pot (depending on how many you are cooking for), add the peas and carrots.
Open the can(s) of beef stew and all to the peas and carrots pot.
Place pot on cooktop and turn burner to medium high. Heat for 10-15 minutes until hot.
In a separate medium size bowl, add the powdered mashed potatoes.
When the water has come to a boil, as the specified amount of boiling water to the powdered mashed potatoes.
Stir water and potatoes with a fork til all the water has absorbed and the texture is a creamy mashed potato.
Once beef stew has cooked, turn the cooktop burner off.
Spoon about a cup of mashed potatoes into individual bowls.
Top the potatoes with about a cup and a half of beef stew.
Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy your quick easy hearty meal.
